School Website Redesign:
Streamlining Information for Parents

Problem

The Crescendo-HELP International School website was cluttered with dense, unorganised information, making navigation difficult and distracting for parents seeking enrolment details. This affected user engagement and created barriers to conversion.

Objective

To support the school’s goal of increasing enrolments, I focused on designing a streamlined user experience where parents could effortlessly find relevant information. My approach centred on simplifying the website’s structure, prioritising clarity, and reducing cognitive load by minimising and organising text-heavy sections.

Process & Solution

Content Simplification

Collaborated closely with stakeholders to identify key information needed by prospective parents, streamlining and organising content to ensure clarity and accessibility. Led efforts to reduce non-essential content and restructured the sitemap to create a more intuitive user journey.

User-Centred Content

Crafted intuitive navigation and concise, goal-oriented copy to guide users smoothly through key pages. To enhance readability and engagement, information was made digestible with bite-sized content, clear text hierarchy, and vibrant graphics, creating a user-friendly experience tailored to prospective parents' needs.

Optimising CTAs for Higher Conversions

Incorporated intuitive navigation and concise, goal-oriented copy to guide users seamlessly through key pages. To improve user engagement and action, I added multiple call-to-action (CTA) buttons across the site, addressing the previous lack of clear guidance. These CTAs were strategically placed to encourage users to take the next steps, such as making inquiries or completing enrolments, helping drive conversions and supporting the school’s enrolment goals. Additionally, content was made digestible with bite-sized text, a clear hierarchy, and vibrant graphics to improve readability and engagement.

Testing and Iteration

Developed content prototypes and gathered user feedback to refine the information architecture, with a focus on enhancing the visibility and accessibility of key enrolment details.
